Swedish outdoor brand Fjällräven expands its Boston footprint with the opening of a new brand center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. The store is the brand’s second retail location in the Boston Metro region and its 18th location in North America. Since first opening shop on Newbury Street in 2013, Fjällräven has quickly become a top destination for not only outdoor enthusiasts, but for locals in search of versatile wears to brave New England’s unpredictable weather. The 2,000-square foot Cambridge store will offer an assortment of the brand’s functional products while exemplifying what Fjällräven has stood for since 1960: making the outdoors accessible to more people at all experience levels.

The Cambridge store will carry a curated assortment of sustainable outerwear, apparel, backpacks, accessories and gear for men, women and kids, designed in Sweden and worn around the world. Many original products, such as the Greenland Jacket crafted from the brand’s signature waxed G-1000® fabrication, balance urban and outdoor sensibilities. Newer products such as the Eco-Shell® collection, a complete line of fluorocarbon-free hardshells built using recycled polyester, will further introduce local fans to sustainable alternatives to traditional performance outerwear. Further adding to the brand experience, the location will be staffed with a dedicated team of gear experts to help customers find the perfect Fjällräven fit no matter the intended activity. Camping to hiking, and travel to trekking, there is a curated, designed assortment for all adventure needs.
