There’s no stronger force than when a community of likeminded people come together to support a worthy cause. Saturday night 7/15/17 that cause was the San Onofre Parks Foundation. The event, like most events at the INTERVAL Gallery in San Clemente, was jammed packed with local surf royalty and families that cherish their beloved beaches. Big thanks to Volume Distribution and Surfline’s Great Breaks for their awesome collaboration on a new line of photo tees that were used as impetus to raise funds for the SOPF.
Prints and T-shirts from the Great Breaks Collection — along with images from Volume’s Grain Collection – filled the walls and were available for purchase. Featured artists included: Jeremiah Klein, Tom Servais, Aaron Checkwood, Jimmy Wilson, Rusty Long and Jerome Weightman. Funds raised from the silent auction as well as t-shirt sales will be donated to The San Onofre Parks Foundation.

About The San Onofre Parks Foundation:
The San Onofre Parks Foundation (SOPF) is a California 501 (c)-3 non-profit organization that maintains a formal contractual relationship with the California State Parks System and provides support for educational and interpretive programs at San Onofre and San Clemente State Beaches. In addition to funding and curating exhibits at the San Clemente State Beach Historic Cottage and visitor center, SOPF hosts a popular summer lecture series at the Cottage, supports camping experiences for inner-city children at San Clemente campground, provides day-hikes for local Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCAs, and sponsors in-the-park school field-trip programs for Kindergarten through Middle School children.
