22-year snow sports industry veteran Joani Lynch has been named vice president of brand marketing for Mammoth Mountain. In this role Lynch will oversee all creative functions, social media, public relations, content generation and advertising for one of the most recognized mountain destinations in North America.
“From her early days driving around Southern California promoting the resort to now leading award-winning marketing programs, Joani has contributed greatly to this company,” said Erik Forsell, chief marketing officer, Mammoth Resorts. “Joani has a hand in nearly every aspect of marketing that our guests encounter, from print to content to early morning snow reports. Mammoth Mountain was awarded the Best Overall Marketing Campaign for 2014-15 by the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA). More recently, the North American Snowsports Journalists Association voted Joani the winner of the Bob Gillen Memorial Award, for corporate member contributions to the advancement of snow sports.
