Published: September 3, 2015 Press Release

(New York, NY) August 31, 2015 – This season, premium eyewear brand Nike Vision announces the launch of its Fall 2015 SB sun collection. Comprised of six styles, the product array builds on the Spring ’15 inaugural collection that featured the Nike Volano, Nike Volition, Nike Achieve and Nike Recover. New styles for Fall include the Nike Unrest and Nike Flatspot. The collection rolls out to consumers this month and will be available at select Nike Vision retailers.

“While Nike SB eyewear speaks to the core skate consumer, it’s still very versatile,” said JC Clenet, Nike Vision Category Manager at Marchon Eyewear, Nike’s global eyewear licensee. “We pride ourselves on the subtle hints that athletes appreciate and attention to detail that only Nike can provide. We’re confident that the addition of two new styles, the Unrest and Flatspot, strengthen the eyewear offering in the SB category.”

New styles for Fall 2015 include:

NIKE UNREST, MSRP $79.00

Paying homage to Nike’s hometown of Portland, OR, the Unrest features graphics on the outside of the frames taken from Burnside Skatepark, located under the east side of the city’s Burnside Bridge. The Unrest features Nike Max Optics Lens Technology for precise visual information at all angles of view, plus a lightweight injected, six-base frame design. Cam hinges snap firmly into place. Select color ways feature “Special Edition” digitally printed graphics on the temples. The inside temple is branded with the skatepark’s actual latitude and longitude coordinates.

NIKE FLATSPOT, MSRP $99.00

The Flatspot takes cues directly from the flat spot on skateboard wheels that appear as the result of powersliding; Nike Vision’s Flatspot features a flat panel on the bottom of the lens. The Flatspot also includes Nike Max Optics Lens Technology for precise visual information at all angles of view, a lightweight injected frame design, and cam hinges that snap firmly into place. The style also features a unique four-base eye rim shape and jeweled metal Swoosh logo.

Styles carrying over from the Spring 2015 launch include:

NIKE VOLANO, MSRP $156.00-$176.00

Featuring an acetate front and temples, the Volano also includes a six base, action sport-inspired shape and Nike SB branding on the inside temple. The style’s name is built onto the top of the frame in enamel. Fall 2015 sees the addition of a new color way: Total Red Tortoise/Red Orange.

NIKE VOLITION, MSRP $196.00

This retro-inspired style is built with an acetate front and temples, six base, action sport-inspired shape and metal eyerim details with a pop of Nike’s famous Volt. The Volition also includes Nike SB branding on the inside temple and the style name on the eyewear’s top side. New this fall will be a Team Red Tortoise/Total Orange color way.

NIKE ACHIEVE, MSRP $196.00

Taking cues from vintage eyewear, the Achieve includes an acetate front and temples with a six base, action sport-inspired shape. An enamel-filled SB logo is featured on inside temple tip. The eyewear is accented with a metal nose bridge. A Team Red Tortoise/Total Orange color way debuts for Fall.

NIKE RECOVER, MSRP $136.00-$156.00

The Recover features an injected, oversized six base frame inspired by action sport. Rubber nose pads and temple tips ensure a secure fit, while Ri-Pel coating on the lenses prevents dirt and debris from settling. The style also features Nike SB branding on the inside temple and the style name on the top of the frame. New colors this season include Matte Black/Wolf Grey and Matte Squadron Blue/Tide Pool Blue.
