Waves For Water is a non-profit organization that works on the frontline providing aid and clean water solutions to communities around the world. Founded by Nixon’s first ever Team Rider, Jon Rose, Waves For Water provides clean water solutions – such as filtration systems, rain-water harvesting systems, and wells, to countries that need them. “The mission is simple: get clean water to every person that needs it” said Jon Rose, founder of Waves For Water.
Water flows through Nixon’s lifeblood from the waves we surf to the powder we slash. Developing a collaborative colorway to support the water aid and solution efforts of Waves For Water was a natural alignment. The Supertide was built with the ocean and water in mind, providing precise tide information, a tide chart, heat timer, alarm, light sunrise/sunset and tides for 270 beaches, and was the obvious product choice for this partnership.
