The Fall collection took us across California allowing us to experience the diverse landscapes and climates we have. California is often credited with having one of the best climates in the world, and we couldn’t agree more. We went from frigid Holcomb Valley in the San Bernadino Mountains to the wind swept coast of Jalama. The Fall 2016 collection offers wovens, knits, fleece and outerwear built to perform in either element.

We’ve eliminated what we call the “double closet” as a way to condense your daily wardrobe into one functional space. We’ve all seen our wardrobes seperate on their own, with those heavily tech specific pieces slowly moving out of the way of the items you wear daily. The heart of this effort is to offer product to better serve you without sacrificing the use of the best fabrications combined with the perfect fit. It took two long years of testing the coatings and treatments we’ve incorporated across our product range. As a result, ourCaste balances a purely functional mentality with daily wearability.
By using coatings to apply our functional properties, we are able to use a more premium range of base fabrics like French Terry and Cotton Oxfords. This again is all a part of our balance between functionality and daily wearability, supporting that southern California lifestyle born outside. For outerwear, boardshorts and other synthetic based pieces, we spend time reverse engineering technologies proven in the elements. We take those qualities and build them into more tailored silhouettes with well-designed details of purpose.
