Caro Krissman, Founder and CEO of Outdoor Tech®, a lifestyle electronics brand, sold his shares to the brands lead investor and has departed the brand.
Under Krissman’s tenure, the brand grew rapidly being named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies several years running and growing distribution to over 4,000 doors and 25 countries. Though the brand developed a number of marquee products under Krissman’s management, the CHIPS™ universal helmet audio product was the one that best summarized the brand’s DNA and helped elevate Outdoor Tech’s stature.
A native Angeleno with a heart for the outdoors and a knack for identifying opportunity, Krissman has been focused on building businesses even before his days at the University of Southern California. Prior to founding Outdoor Tech, Krissman was the Founder/CEO of another fast growth business that also made its way to the Inc. 500/5000 in consecutive years from 2008-2010 which he also sold in 2014. Krissman currently serves as advisor and Board Member at Lumenus LLC, a brand focused on smart lighting for outdoor activities. After a brief hiatus, he will look to help lead another great brand with his deep experience in leadership management, strategic planning, capital raising, creative direction, product development, supply chain operations, and sales channel management.
