Events included hosting a sunset evening with shop owners and buyers including: Bruce Cromartie of BC Surf & Sport, Eric and Millie Miura of Déjà Vu, Kathy Detreaux of Hanalei Surf, Leigh Tonai and Harol Lyn Iwata of HIC, and Glenn Hirata, Ryan Sugihara, Tracy Ogawa of T&C.
The Billabong Women’s team on another day hosted local retail girls from HIC, T&C, Local Motion and more and at the Billabong Women’s private estate in Velzyland for a champagne brunch and surf session with the women’s pro team.
And, the surf team and influencers including Kaitlynn Carter also spent a day at Waikiki beach. Dressed in the Spring ‘16 styles from the Billabong Surf Capsule Collection, the girls spent the day long boarding, sunbathing on the beach and hanging out on inflatable swans. Courtney Conlogue taught blogger Kaitlynn Carter how to surf and even rode tandem with her on some waves.
