Costa Mesa, CA (September 10th, 2015): Join Rip Curl at our San Clemente retail store on Sunday, September 13th from 1-3pm to meet some of the best surfers in the world, eat some tacos and Banzai Bowls, and raise money for some great causes.
With the WSL Tour in town for the Hurley Pro, Rip Curl’s elite team of athletes including Mick Fanning, Gabriel Medina, Owen Wright, Matt Wilkinson, Tyler Wright, Nikki Van Dijk, and Bethany Hamilton will be on hand to meet, greet, and sign posters for those who attend (event schedule permitting).
We will also be holding a raffle to raise funds for StokesMe September, a campaign aimed to raise money and awareness for 15 amazing beneficiaries doing incredible work for several worthy causes (please go to www.stokesme.org for more info). All proceeds from the raffle will support the 15 beneficiaries listed on their website. The raffle will feature epic prizes from Rip Curl, including wetsuits and watches, as well as product from several other premium surf brands. Tickets can be purchased the day of the event at Rip Curl San Clemente.
Additionally, there will be free tacos to enjoy from Wahoo’s, Bonzai Bowls and a free custom hat press will be in full effect, which will allow attendees to pick out a custom hat of choice.
