San Diego, Calif. – September 9, 2015 – SD Sport Innovators (SDSI) and SurfAid would like to invite you to a special event! Both organizations are partnering up with Sun Diego Boardshops in Carlsbad for a social reception with a brief presentation by Dr. Dave Jenkins, Founder of SurfAid. The event will take place on Thursday, September 17th from 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM at Sun Diego’s Carlsbad location (2978 Carlsbad Blvd, #120). SDSI Program Manager, Nick Roth said, “We want to utilize this as not only a fun social event to bring the industry together, but weave in a learning experience as well. Dr. Dave’s challenges with founding SurfAid apply to companies outside of the nonprofit classification. Dr. Dave will touch on ‘Founders Syndrome,’ targeting your end-user, navigating through a pivot/natural disaster, maintaining focus, and empowering others.”
Roth adds, “We are really excited to continue our relationship with SurfAid, an organization that has saved so many lives and done so much good in the world. We are confident that everyone in attendance will benefit greatly!”
Sun Diego will be donating 20% of proceeds to SurfAid during the event.
