The Powell Movement, the action sports podcast that speaks to both athletes and industry professionals, has its hands on a never-released-to the-public Shane McConkey Movie. The three-part series, “The Thrillogy,” was produced by Michael Jaquet and Shane McConkey in the early 1990’s as a college journalism project. This week, Jaquet is Powell’s podcast guest and shares the fact that the movie exists.
“When Jaquet said he had this movie, I knew I had to get my hands on it and put it out there. McConkey was and is such an inspiration for how to live life the right way and it is fun to see his early years when he was just Shane,” says Powell. “When my Facebook Page post promoting the Jaquet show hits 100 shares, I’ll be uploading the file and posting to my page so the world can see it in its SD glory”

About Mike Powell
AwesoME ends with ME, and my name is Mike Powell – welcome to the POWELL MOVEMENT! I’ve spent my career in action sports athlete management and worked with the best skiers in the world during a 16 year career at K2 Sports. I’ve also MC’d events around the world for K2, Redbull, Powder Magazine and plenty more and I drop the Mic every time. Prior to that, I put the RAD in Radford University in hopes that accredited institution taught me how to spell correctly, but that failed because my A.D.D. prevents me from completing even half of a Harry Potter book that isn’t in a pop up form with pictures. Which is why I’m podcasting. And lucky for you, because that means you’ll have a weekly, highly caffeinated, POWELL MOVEMENT podcast to listen to.
