Slowtide hosts multiple events supporting the local community on the North shore of Oahu.
On Tuesday December 5th at Sunset Beach Elementary school on the North Shore of Oahu Slowtide created custom indigo dyed towels for the local community.  The event was in conjunction with Aloha Aina Warrior film premiere that was presented by RVCA.  Slowtide’s Co-Founder Kyle Spencer is from Maui and lives on Oahu.
Slowtide also presented “Island Fever” a photo exhibit featuring: Brent Bielman, Laserwolf, John Hook, Keoki Saguibo, Kelia Moniz, Alana Spencer, Evan Mock and Brooke Dombroski.  The show has held at Haleiwa bottle shop and had a live performance by Tyler Nakamura.
