With a rich heritage of living life beyond walls, Smith dedicates the month of October to celebrating the strong, beautiful, and unstoppable women who devote their time and energy pursuing outdoor adventures. In addition to highlighting some of its most decorated female athletes in action sports, Smith continues its philanthropic support of First Descents, a non-profit offering young adult cancer fighters and survivors outdoor adventure experiences, empowering them to reclaim their lives.
For every sunglass sold on smithoptics.com in October, Smith will donate $1 to First Descents. To help spread the word, Smith will be hosting a social media contest, searching for the best photo each week that exemplifies strong, beautiful, and unstoppable moments. The winner will be selected every Monday by one of Smith’s female athletes and will receive a complete Smith sport-specific prize pack including helmet, eyewear and/or apparel of their choosing.
