Sullen Clothing, an art-driven lifestyle apparel brand based in Orange County, Calif., today announced this very special launch to go down March 19th from 7pm-11pm. The late Bradley Nowell’s widow,Troy Holmes approached Sullen with the idea of celebrating Sublime’s final self-titled five-time platinum album ‘SUBLIME’ with a collaboration project with the Sullen Art Collective. The Sublime Family’s OG tattooer, ‘Sublime Sun’ creator, album cover artist and Long Beach Dub Allstar vocalist- Opie Ortiz led the way by inviting artists to choose one song off of the album as inspiration to create a new piece of original art for a limited edition Sullen/Sublime garment. This Spring capsule will be a celebration of Bradley’s life and his final album!
No better place to celebrate this special night than taking a trip to Garden Grove to also celebrate the grand opening of Collective Ink Gallery owned and operated by World famous tattoo artist Big Gus of Spike TV’s hit show Tattoo Nightmares. Tattoo Nightmares stars Big Gus along with Tommy Helm and Jasmine Rodriguez and shows clients with bad tattoos coming in to get them ‘covered up’ by these cover-up specialists, turning a tattoo nightmare into a beautiful piece of art that they can be proud of.
