LOS ANGELES & NEW YORK, Aug. 24, 2017 – Tickets go on sale Fri., Aug. 25 starting at 12 noon PT for ComplexCon, the world’s largest gathering of visionary pop culture enthusiasts. The music, retail, art and culture experience is taking over Long Beach, Calif., November 4-5 for the second year in a row for a weekend of exclusive sneaker drops, top musical performances, bleeding edge streetwear, and fashion, as well as the return of the ComplexConversations panels, featuring a series of celebrity speakers and experts. ComplexCon’s inaugural host committee of Pharrell Williams and Takashi Murakami return and are joined this year by Sarah Andelman, co-founder of the influential Paris concept fashion store Colette, designer and founder of Off-White, Virgil Abloh, reggaeton superstar J. Balvin, and actor/activist Jaden Smith.
MUSIC:
Fans will finally get the performance they’ve long been waiting for! N*E*R*D will take the stage and blow them away. The influential, genre-blurring group formed by Pharrell Williams, Chad Hugo and Shae Haley will headline night one of ComplexCon on Nov. 4. Gucci Mane, the legendary trap music pioneer, is set to headline the second night arena performance on Nov. 5 along with M.I.A. and Young Thug.
In a surprise announcement, influential record label Fool’s Gold is taking over the Pigeons & Planes stage on Sat., Nov. 4, making ComplexCon the exclusive Southern California site for its popular Day Off festival. Daytime performers on Saturday presented by Fool’s Gold include A-Trak & Friends, SuperDuperKyle, A$AP Ferg, Virgil Abloh, Ski Mask The Slump God, Wifisfuneral, Dreezy, and Ronny J Presents. Daytime performances on the Pigeons and Planes stage Sun., Nov. 5 include DJ Khaled, DRAM, Jaden Smith, i am OTHER #BeGreat Party ft. Special Guests, Noname, Cozy Boys, Chloe x Halle, Injury Reserve, and more to be announced in the coming weeks.
SHOPPING:
For the second year, ComplexCon is delivering an incredible shopping experience to attendees, with cult favorites and fashion houses debuting collaborations and launching exclusive products. Hundreds of pop-ups, worthy of camping out for, will be under one roof, including Puma, Colette, Billionaire Boys Club, Human Made, Union Los Angeles, Modernica, “virgil abloh”, Nike, Undefeated, Concepts, RSVP Gallery, New Balance, Pintrill, Adidas and Clot, with many more to be announced.
General Admission ticket to the daytime exhibition and evening concert are $75-$100 per day plus fees. And this year, ComplexCon is offering a limited quantity of VIP Weekend packages that give fans early access to shopping, a special concert viewing area, VIP lines for entry into the festival, select booths, food trucks, and exhibits and more for $400 plus fees for the two-day event**.
