Irvine, CA (8-24-15) – Tilly’s Life Center (TLC) will host its Inaugural “I Am Giving” Gala on September 26th, 2015 at 5:30 PM at the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. Tilly’s Life Center is a youth-focused, 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable foundation aimed at empowering all teens with a positive mindset and enabling them to effectively cope with crisis, adversity and tough decisions. TLC’s mission is to inspire today’s youth to reach their full potential as productive, kind, happy, and responsible individuals.
Step into the luxurious Island Hotel as the black-tie optional evening kicks off with an open bar cocktail reception and silent auction followed by dinner, entertainment, and live auction. In line with TLC’s mission, the presentation will include stories of transformation from TLC teen graduates as well as from Tilly herself. Guests can then dance the night away to the live band, California, or continue giving through casino games and raffles.
As Tilly Levine, Founder and President of TLC, reminds us, “The TLC program was developed to create real change in the lives of young people. It is not simply a handout or band-aid solution; TLC allows for self-discovery and positive thinking. These teens are our future generation and the funds raised from the ‘I Am Giving’ Gala are vital for the effort to empower teens to take responsibility for their place in this world.”
Tickets are $250 each or $2500 for a table of ten, with sponsorship opportunities including “I Am One Of A Kind” for $25,000, “I Am Paying It Forward” for $15,000, and “I Am Connected” for $10,000.
