TOBE Hires New VP of Sales and Inside Sales Representative

TOBE, Swedish designer of technical backcountry outerwear, announces two new hires to fill the positions of Vice President of Sales and Inside Sales Representative after two seasons of exponential growth.

TOBE welcomes Greg Hughes to the Tribe in the capacity of the newly-created Vice President of Sales position. With nearly 20 years of sales management experience in the snowsports and outdoor industries, Hughes will be tasked with growing the brand in North America on three fronts, while providing first-class service to sales reps and retail accounts in the USA. Hughes will also oversee sales in Canada in cooperation with Canadian sales and distribution partner Mountain Sports Distribution.

“Greg has proven throughout his career that his skill set as a salesperson, manager and self-starter are second-to-none. We’re pleased to have Greg joining our tight-knit team and we look forward to tapping into his experience to scale our North American sales efforts,” said TOBE Founder and CEO Tomas Berntsson.

Throughout his career, Greg has worked with companies that were not afraid to challenge the status quo in their respective industries, with the likes of Mervin Manufacturing/Quiksilver and Morrow Snowboards on his CV. Hughes’ passion for sales and a life spent outdoors is the ideal addition at the right time for TOBE.

Building upon the existing sales structure to take advantage of this position is a challenge I look forward to taking on,” stated Hughes.

TOBE is also excited to welcome Samantha Davitt to the tribe as the Inside Sales Representative.
