VNDA debuts holiday 2015 collection, new management team

The company founders decided it was time to take the brand to the next level and bring in a key group of industry professionals.

VNDA launches Holiday 2015 collection and is proud to announce a new management team. Founded by an elite crew of professional surfers and industry influencers – Josh Kerr, Chippa Wilson, Oliver Kurtz, Ryan Bautista, Greg Fernandez, and Justin Heit, launched its premium essentials collection in 2014. The brand was one of the first in the action sports industry to go after the underwear and loungewear category. After a successful year and seeing the high demand for premium men’s and women’s essentials, the founders decided it was time to take the brand to the next level and bring in a key group of industry professionals.

Being a specialist in the building of brands, Peter Smith has come on as CEO. With an expertise in licensing and establishing new technologies and new categories, Peter’s prior accomplishments in brands such as Disney, NFL, Cobra Golf, Wilson Sporting Goods, and Blacksmith International will help elevate VNDA to succeed and develop in emerging areas. Allison Perez, an industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in successfully marketing brands such as Roxy and Billabong is coming in to develop the brands traditional and non-traditional marketing initiatives. Julia Heit coming from Raen Eyewear brings a unique design experience from past contemporary brands, is Head Designer and Style Lead. Tasia Lopez, from BlackSmith will lead to build the strong production model that the brand has set. The founders, board of directors and lead ambassadors will continue to advise on the brands direction and growth.

With the combination of a strong group of creative professionals the brand just launched its Holiday 2015 collection with new color ways and products, such as the men’s Class lounge pant and new Voy boxer. Although the brand prides itself of its roots in surf, it is not limited to action sports and its retail distribution will live comfortably in both shops like Sun Diego and fashion boutiques such as Shop Vandevoort. Price range for all products is $28.00 to $110.00. With it’s newly launched product and website a key focus will also be on the continuous growth of e-commerce.
