Bob’s is literally on at my house 24/7…
Josh Kalis, Pro Skateboarder.
Inspired by those famous Bob’s puns, DC has also partnered with US chef, media personality, and Eggslut and Amboy founder Alvin Cailan to create a series of seven original burger recipes inspired by skateboarding tricks. Think burgers like the Pop Chevre It, Portobell-No Comply, Frontside 360 Pickle Flip, and Big Spin-ach, turned into custom graphics and deployed across the capsule collection.
Chef Alvin brings the recipes to life with impromptu cooking videos 7 Days of Burgers. Cailan cooks up all seven DC x BB recipes before pro skateboarders Wes Kremer and Ish Cepeda. The tutorials are designed to inspire, encouraging the public to upgrade their grill game ahead of the Summer, and are available on DC’s YouTube Channel from May 1.
I love burgers, and I love skating! So when I got asked to work with DC Shoes and Bob’s Burgers, I jumped at the opportunity. Two Worlds that I’m obsessed with colliding. Watching the skate trick-inspired burgers come to life and tasting them with the pros was epic; I couldn’t believe they ate all of them.
Alvin Cailan, Chef.
We love Bob’s Burgers and had a great time working with the teams at Disney and Bento Box to bring this collaboration to life. Merging the bold self-expression of DC skateboarding with the irreverent Bob’s universe proved to be an extremely natural process. We hope all the fans enjoy this collection as much as we do.
Michael Minter, Global Head of Marketing, DC Shoes.
