Iconic workwear brand Dickies is redefining the work suit co-designed with Highsnobiety. The unisex collection sets out to build the ideal workwear-inspired casual suit – including pleated work pants, a button-down work shirt and a boxy-fit blazer. The rough yet refined silhouettes, crafted from the classic twill fabrics that have become synonymous with Dickies, provide versatility meant for everyday wear.
“Suits have long been associated with materialistic success and we wanted to take that idea, that symbol and dismantle it,” said Matt Ting, Sr. Director Global Work-Inspired Product for Dickies. “By taking the silhouette of a suit and marrying it with a classic workwear uniform, we created a style with Highsnobiety that’s more accessible and a reflection of current times.”
Each style is available in three colors including, black, lincoln green, and dark brown, in sizes extra small through extra-large. The design is true to Dickies’ iconic shapes, cuts and materials, but with a Highsnobiety-design twist.
“We’re super excited to work with such an iconic brand like Dickies and we loved creating this collection with them,” said Herbert Hoffman, Commerce Creative Director and Head Buyer for Highsnobiety. “Seeing our logos, design ethos and knowledge joined together, culminating in this suit collection has made a dream come true for us. I simply can’t wait to wear the suit with a white tee or a hoodie.”
The collection launches globally exclusively on Highsnobiety Shop on October 6 and beginning October 20 on Dickies.com and through select retailers. Customers can shop the in-store experience in Europe at: END. (UK), Selfridges (UK), Goodhood (UK), Sevenstore (UK), Hanon (UK), Shinzo (France), Oneblockdown (Italy), and The Room (Spain).
