etnies announced today that the brand has hired Fred van Schie as marketing manager and Aidan Campbell as skate team manager. etnies remains skater-owned, and Fred and Aidan are both skateboarders that bring passion, experience and tight relationships with the team to their new roles.
etnies’ new Marketing Manager Fred van Schie started working in skateboarding in 1999. Most recently he owned and operated FvS Media, where he provided social media consulting and management for pro athletes, events and bands. Some of the highlights of his work included consulting for etnies, Dew Tour, Tampa Pro, Street League, GWAR and many of the top pro skateboarders today. Prior to launching FvS Media, Fred was the marketing manager for Sole Technology’s éS footwear, Emerica and Altamont Apparel brands.
etnies’ new Team Manager Aidan Campbell went from flow to pro on the etnies team, but his loyalty to the brand runs even deeper than that. As a kid he was a local at the etnies Skatepark, and his first job was working at the etnies Company Store. He went pro for Foundation, and put out full parts on the etnies Album, Foundation’s Oddity and RVCA’s Balance of Opposites videos. Look out for another Aidan video part coming out on the next Foundation video too.
