FARM Rio and Rip Curl’s New Collaboration Brings Brazilian Heat to the Surf

The iconic Australian surf brand Rip Curl has partnered with Brazilian fashion and lifestyle house FARM Rio for their first-ever collaboration bringing together the two brands’ bold designs, technical innovation, and a shared love of beach culture.

For more than 27 years, FARM Rio has inspired people around the world to dress in happiness. Their bold, expressive prints are rooted in the spirit of Rio de Janeiro, celebrating colour, vibrance and the lively energy of its people. Rip Curl, an Australian surf institution for more than five decades, continues to push the boundaries of performance surfwear with products designed for life in and around the water.

FARM Rio’s newly launched accessories brand, FARM Etc. is also co-signing the partnership to expand the collaboration beyond apparel into luggage and accessories. Together Rip Curl’s technical expertise and FARM Rio’s signature vibrant patterns come to life across apparel, swimwear, wetsuits, luggage and accessories, with each piece embodying a blend of function and style.

Rip Curl’s Head of Design Amy Findlay shared, “Integrating FARM Rio’s bold artwork into technical surf products has been so much fun! We collaborated closely on every element; print scale, placement, construction to ensure the pieces not only look great, but also perform to our standards in the ocean. We’re proud of the collection we have created together and hope women around the world feel confident when they wear it in and out of the water.

”As certified B Corporations, both brands share a commitment to sustainability and work to reduce their impact on people and planet. This collaboration reflects that shared mission, combining responsible design with creativity and global cultural exchange.

Highlights from the collection include technical summer wetsuits, a vibrant floral suitcase, a striped shirt and pant set, and floral bikini sets. The FARM Rio x Rip Curl floral print appears across the collection, tying the pieces all together.

The FARM Rio x Rip Curl collection launches today and will be available through select retail stores and both brands’ online channels at www.ripcurl.com/au, arriving just in time for a bright and tropical summer.
