Fleet Feet, the nation’s largest franchisor of run specialty stores, today announced the opening of a new location in Denton, Texas, marking the ninth store in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area. The store is run by operating partner Josh Davis, and is located at 1400 S Loop 288, Ste. 288, Denton, TX 76205, in the Denton Crossing Shopping Center.

Fleet Feet Denton is led by a passionate team committed to helping runners and walkers discover comfort, performance and community. At the helm is operating partner Josh Davis, a lifelong Texan who began his Fleet Feet career as store manager of Fleet Feet McKinney in 2021. With more than a decade of experience in the run specialty industry, Davis brings both expertise and vision for growth.

Supporting him is a seasoned leadership team: operations manager Julie Tolleson, operations manager Kevin Cusworth and community outreach director Sarah Miller. Tolleson, who has more than 15 years of industry experience, takes a people-first approach to building strong, supportive teams. Cusworth, newly arrived in the Dallas market, adds a national perspective and a proven track record of optimizing operations across multiple locations. Miller leverages her field marketing background to create authentic connections and lasting partnerships that strengthen Fleet Feet’s role in the local running community.
Grand Opening Celebration
Fleet Feet Denton will host an official grand opening celebration in late October featuring shoe demos, food and beverages, raffle prizes and a hosted community run.

Beyond marathon training, the store will also support the broader running community through partnerships with local run clubs, including the Denton Area Run Club, creating opportunities for runners at every level to connect, train, and thrive.
