FUEL TV and World Surf League Expand Distribution Partnership

FUEL TV and the World Surf League (WSL) have expanded their distribution partnership and will launch a new 2-hour weekly programming block “WSL TV on FRESH@5” globally on Monday 3 May 2021 it was announced today by Fernando Figueiredo, CEO of FUEL TV.

“The WSL represents the pinnacle of professional surfing and our partnership has had a major positive impact on our audience in key markets.” said Figueiredo in making the announcement. “With the addition of ‘WSL TV on FRESH@5’ every Monday, and the expansion of rights into the global market, we are confident that we’ll be delivering an amazing viewing experience for surf fans around the world.”

Launched in January 2021, FUEL TV’s ‘FRESH@5’ delivers fresh new programming Monday through Friday at 5pm local time in most major markets. The two-hour weekly ‘WSL TV on FRESH@5’ will bring a line-up of programming produced by WSL Studios including ‘Lawn Patrol’, ‘Soundwaves’, ‘Getting Heated, and‘Brilliant Corners.’
