Globe International Ltd. (Globe) (ASX:GLB) announces that Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary Jessica Moelands has tendered her resignation from Globe. Moelands will finish her employment with Globe on December 31, 2023.
Moelands commenced with Globe almost 20 years ago, serving as Globe’s CFO and more recently also as the Company Secretary. She is departing at a time when Globe is in a strong financial position, with key foundations having been laid to support the future growth trajectory of the business.
CEO Matt Hill said, “We wish to thank Jess for her support and dedication to Globe. During her nearly 20-year tenure as CFO, she has been instrumental in enabling Globe to grow its brand portfolio across the Australian, the United States, and European markets and has played a pivotal role in harmonizing and streamlining the financial operations.”
Moelands said, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time at Globe, where I’ve been fortunate to work with, and learn from an amazing group of people. I am proud of what we’ve achieved over the last 19 years, through some major challenges and awesome opportunities. While my decision to move on is made with a heavy heart, the time is right for me to look for a new challenge. For now, my focus is on managing an effective transition at Globe.”
Hill added, “On a personal level, I have immensely enjoyed working with Jess. We have worked through a massive evolution of the business over the years and Jess’s contributions to the company in those times and support for her workmates and team has been exemplary. She will be missed by all. On behalf of the Globe Board and executive team, we sincerely wish her the best in her future endeavors.”
A recruitment search has commenced, and Moelands will remain with Globe to assist in the search and support an orderly transition process.
