Golf Accessories Brand Stoke Golf Co. Launches

Golf and action sports industry veteran Sean Hargraves launches the brand.

Stoke Golf Co. LLC announces its official launch, aiming to disrupt a historically conservative industry with innovative products, fresh and aggressive marketing, and a commitment to mother earth. 

“The game of golf continues to grow like crazy especially to the younger demo, yet we feel many of the legacy brands are too stuffy and/or conservative to reach this new group of players without offending their older base” said founder Sean Hargraves. 

“We hope to combine years of action sports product and marketing experience with modern, relevant product that appeals to golfers of all skill levels. We also feel like there is a great opportunity for an equipment neutral brand for players who carry a mixed bag of clubs”. 

Our first glove named the “Staple” is modern and aggressive, yet it will be the tamest product in our range, with an innovative new glove coming early ‘25 along with golf bags later in ’25. 

Another Stoke brand initiative is responsible manufacturing. We pledge to minimize the use of single use plastic wherever possible. Unlike the legacy brands, our gloves are packaged in kraft paper sleeves with tissue liner, both very earth friendly. Our t-shirts are shipped in plant based bags that decompose in days vs years of typical plastic. 

Currently Stoke Golf Co. is exclusively DTC, but plans are in the works for wider Green Grass and Big Box distribution in the near future.

About the founder 

Sean Hargraves is a 20+ year veteran in Action Sports designing products and marketing for brands including Bell Helmets, Trek Bikes, Mirraco Bikes, Haro Bikes, ANSR Motocross, Oakley, etc. More recently he designed and managed all Performance gear products (bags, gloves, headwear, and accessories) for Callaway Golf for 7 seasons from 2016-2023.
