Gordini, a leader in outdoor accessories innovation since 1956, greets its 70th year in 2026 by becoming a 4-season brand. New product offerings for Spring/Summer 2026 include low-rise, quarter and crew height performance socks in ultra-light, light, and mid weights for outdoor adventures, including running, trail, hike and everyday wear styles.
The eight new sock styles for men and women feature Gordini’s OrbitFit technology that fuses performance fibers in anatomically-mapped 3D zones throughout the sock to deliver support and comfort in a way that has never been available in outdoor adventure sock design. Historically known for its cold-weather gear solutions, Gordini’s expansion of its OrbitFit technology into warm weather performance socks marks a natural evolution for the brand.
“Our Gordini performance socks address a void we saw in the category and bring both exceptional comfort, as well as durability and breathability to the sock market. By studying foot anatomy and dynamic movement on a deeper level and partnering with an innovative robotics team in Italy, we developed a custom knitting system that powers our OrbitFit technology design,” said Gordini President David Gellis. “As we celebrate our 70th year, we are excited to meet our active, outdoor consumer wherever they are in their outdoor adventures, no matter the season. We know that even the smallest piece of gear can transform an outdoor experience, and we remain committed to elevating that experience through purposeful design and innovation.”
Gordini has been an independently-owned, family-run business since 1956, offering solutions that enable consumers to stay outdoors longer. Its new spring/summer sock styles are built for any level of outdoor adventure and feature soft Merino wool and Coolmax EcoMade Fiber for moisture-wicking cooling performance next to foot. The OrbitFit exterior layer incorporates REPREVE yarns made from recycled content with reinforced Nylon for durability.
“We want to redefine what performance socks can do,” Gellis continued. “We’ve been working closely with our team of athletes and ambassadors to continue to improve upon our designs, resulting in exceptionally high testing satisfaction. Our socks don’t just perform differently, they look and feel different, which brings a new excitement and fresh energy to the category.”
With all its product offerings, Gordini embraces a responsible approach – from its product warranty and repair program to its bluesign® system partnership and use of Oeko-Tex® certified materials, exclusively sourcing in accordance with the Responsible Wool Standard and Responsible Down Standard and from tanneries that follow Leather Working Group principles.
