After joining the Creatures of Leisure team back in 2012, the Creatures team instantly knew that Griffin was bound for big things in surfing. Since qualifying for the world tour prior to the 2018 season, Griffin has been putting Creatures’ surf accessories to the ultimate test as he travels the world as a WSL surfer.
Trusting his surf equipment is of the utmost importance to Griffin as he competes and proves himself on the world’s largest stage. Griffin has become a big influencer on the development of Creatures recently released SUPERLITE leash, and has helped prove the leash through his boundary-pushing, innovative surfing approach.

Griffin will be surfing the Vans US Open of Surfing, which has commenced in Huntington Beach, California. With several strong performances in past years, Griffin is a definite favorite to take home the event with his explosive and unpredictable surfing in 2019. Beyond the US Open, Griffin will be spending the summer traveling on the WSL tour, training in between events at home and working with the Creatures team to continue improving all aspects of their product offering.
