Helinox (https://helinox.com), an innovative global outdoor brand opened its Seoul Helinox Wear flagship store on September 11, 2026, overlooking Dosan Park in Gangnam — one of Seoul’s most design-forward neighbourhoods. The flagship functions as a platform where the brand’s technology, design, community and culture are integrated in one building. All visitors experience a complete cycle, starting from the city, passing through nature, icons, community and heritage, and returning to the cityscape.
The building’s exterior is an ETFE air cushion facade, inspired by a tent fly sheet. Held in shape by air and tension alone, it creates a light, floating presence above the city. During the day it transmits light into the interior; at night it projects the activity inside outward. As light, shadow, weather and time change, the facade continuously shifts – the same building takes on a different face throughout the day. A solid concrete terrace contrasts with the floating facade and serves as a transitional space from the city into the store.
Introduced in late 2025, Helinox Wear is the brand’s first collection of apparel that includes outerwear, tops, bottoms and accessories. The collection gained immediate international design validation at the 2026 Red Dot Design Awards, securing five honors across the brand. Notably, Helinox earned the prestigious Red Dot: Best of the Best award in the apparel category for the Eclipse Pack Down Jacket.
The Seoul flagship runs from basement to rooftop across six floors, each forming a single continuous sequence: Urban, Terrain, Icon, Showcase, Commons, Heritage and Stage.
