Design-driven global lifestyle brand Herschel Supply proudly presents the next installment of their Nova Art Project, a series of partnerships with women-identifying artists who each create two exclusive designs that are featured on the brand’s signature Herschel Nova Backpack. The project presents its second collection with the Henn Kim for Herschel Supply Collection.

The collection transforms Henn Kim’s The New Moon and We Are Stars illustrations into Herschel’s Nova Mid-Volume Backpack. Kim draws on personal experiences to create her signature artwork, using a minimalistic and poetic art style, she blends fantasy with reality, creating pieces that touch on themes of love, heartbreak, dreams, loneliness and what it means to exist in the world.

In The New Moon, Henn Kim is inspired by the childlike wonder of being followed by the moon, viewing it as a symbol of serenity, healing, time and transformation. In We Are Stars Henn Kim sends a message of courage to viewers, reminding them that everyone shines and moves within their own orbit. Featuring teardrop, sun and moon icons and custom labels with messages from the artist, the collection comes to life with details that represent ongoing themes across Henn Kim’s artwork.

The Henn Kim for Herschel Supply Collection is available exclusively at Herschel Supply stores and online at www.herschelsupply.com and both bags are priced at $99.99. The next installment in the Nova Art Project series will be arriving in 2023.

More About The Nova Art Project & ArtTable

Herschel Supply’s Nova Art Project is a series of partnerships with female artists to create two exclusive designs to be featured on the brand’s signature Herschel Nova™ Mid-Volume Backpack. The series kicked off back in March with a collection inspired by Miriam Schapiro and two of her famous works. As part of the project’s mission to support artists and women making a difference in the arts community, Herschel Supply has officially partnered with ArtTable through to 2024. A New York based organization, ArtTable is dedicated to advancing the leadership of women in visual arts. The organization’s fellowship program addresses the marked lack of diversity in arts employment and supports women-identifying artists as they transition from academic to professional careers. A portion of proceeds from the Nova Art Project will directly support women in ArtTable’s Fellowship program, with Herschel Supply committing to fully fund four fellowships per year.
