HUF is pleased to present Blood & Soil, a collaborative capsule collection with internationally renowned Los Angeles-based artist Cleon Peterson, happening concurrently with an exhibition of new works on display at Over the Influence gallery.
Known for his monochromatic paintings that depict chaos and brutality, Peterson’s latest body of work and capsule collection expands on those themes and portrays the reconciliation of our violent history with present day violence prevalent across the country. His nightmarish vignettes, demand examination; in his works, violence is a nightmare from which we have not awakened.
Consisting of a Hoodie, Tote Bags, Long Sleeve and Short-sleeve Tees, the HUF x Cleon Peterson “Blood & Soil” capsule collaboration retails from $40-$80 and will be available exclusively at HUF flagship stores worldwide and HUF online starting July 9th. To further coincide with this special release, HUF will be hosting a pop-up shop at Over the Influence launching July 7th with the opening reception.
The exhibition, “Blood & Soil”, consisting of Peterson’s new paintings and sculptures will be on view at Over the Influence, July 8 – August 5, 2018.
