norda and gnuhr are proud to present gnorda, a 10-style collection of footwear and apparel that celebrates each brand’s core tenets: multifaceted design, textile innovation and an evolution in thinking around outdoor gear.

“gnorda focuses on the idea of minimum construction for maximum effect, stemming from both brands’ guiding principle of using the absolute best materials with the most paired back and effective process,” said gnuhr founder Nur Abbas. “For example, the gnorda 002 is stripped back to its purest form, while the gnorda Warp T Tank is a fully engineered garment that doesn’t require any additive construction and can be worn in a multitude of ways.”

Drawing inspiration from Mount Analogue — the unfinished, allegorical magnum opus of French surrealist writer and poet René Daumal, in which a group of mountaineers in search of higher consciousness embark on an expedition to locate and climb a peak invisible to the outside world — gnorda pieces are presented in a mineral palette of brown and aqua, tuned for freedom of movement and mind, and showcased in an otherworldly campaign shot in the New Mexico desert.

“Since day one, my co-founder Willa and I have been obsessed with unlocking the potential of the world’s most advanced materials,” said norda co-founder Nick Martire. “We believe that Nur and the gnuhr team are at the razor’s edge of outdoor design. Together, we were able to create gnorda, a line that we feel is without parallel.”

The gnorda collection will be released via nordarun.com and gnuhr.com at 12 PM ET/9 AM PT on January 29.

Collection Overview

002 ($295): The world’s most responsive trail running shoe, featuring a bio-circular Dyneema® upper, norda x Vibram® SLE midsole and outsole with Vibram® Litebase and Megagrip technologies. The 002’s standard reflective linework is replaced by a gridded pattern, and a co-branded detail is present on the lateral midfoot.

008 ($145): A premium recovery slide built from dual-density EVA foam above a Vibram® ECOSTEP soleplate, the gnorda 008 boasts a large logo hit on its footbed.

Breaker Wind Shirt ($349) and Breaker Wind Pants ($259): Go-to layers for active, ultralight protection against the elements, the Breaker Wind Shirt and Breaker Wind Pants are crafted in Japan of ultralight Dyneema and nylon ripstop. All trims, cords, and cord locks are removable and replaceable for customization and easy maintenance.

Shag Zip Hoodie ($149): Providing ultralight active insulation through its Polartec Alpha Direct 60 fleece construction, the Shag Zip Hoodie can either be worn as an outer layer for breathable warmth or a mid-layer that works in tandem with a shell to trap heat. It features a cropped, close-to-body fit for active comfort.

Alien Throne Tubular T ($129): Displaying original artwork by Farid Saadi on its chest and branding from the gnorda collection on its back, the Alien Throne Tubular T presents a “found in the desert” ethos with its hand-distressed — and hand-repaired — details. Its body is constructed with a single stitch line that forms both the body and sleeves, eliminating the need for a side seam, while bespoke pattern cutting does away with shoulder and armhole seams.

Warp Cargo Legging ($229): A novel approach to leggings based off of three Cs — comfort, coverage and cargo — the Warp Cargo Legging is constructed from garment-dyed Italian nylon and offers integrated cargo pockets that are woven directly into the fabric for a stitch-free construction.

Warp Short Short Lined ($119): With a name drawn from its 3.5’ inseam and warp-knit engineered pocket waistband, the Warp Short Short Lined features integrated storage with six pockets (four for size 1-2) knit directly into its structure, enabling it to hold everything from a soft water flask to an iPhone Max. And, for the first time, it’s been presented with a fully seamless engineered warp knit mesh liner.

Warp T-tank ($139) Tee or tank — the choice is yours with the Warp T-tank. Made from a single panel of warp-knit garment-dyed Italian nylon, its cut lines give you 36 total customization options across the body length, sleeves and necklines, while open mesh on the arms and sides allows increased ventilation.

Retro Sock ($20) – Developed from a cotton blend that provides a space of luxuriation for your feet, the Retro Sock is ideal for moments of rest and relaxation of any duration, and offers a large gnorda wordmark on each side.
