After almost a decade of working together, GiantMouse and Jens Ansø are heading in separate directions, giving both the freedom to focus on growing their respective brands. As of January 1, 2025, Jens will be stepping back from GiantMouse to dedicate more time to Ansø of Denmark. As one of the founders, Jens has been a key part of GiantMouse’s story since its beginning in 2015, collaborating with Jesper Voxnaes on designs that have helped shape the company’s identity.
“This is a natural evolution that allows both GiantMouse and Jens to focus entirely on growing our respective brands, and we’re all excited about what’s ahead,” said Jim Wirth, CEO of GiantMouse Knives. “We’re grateful for everything Jens has brought to GiantMouse over the past nine years. As we move forward, Jesper and I are focused on shaping the future of GiantMouse, while Jens will be able to dedicate himself fully to Ansø of Denmark. We’re confident this step will allow both brands to expand in new ways and achieve the unique goals we each hold for our respective visions.”

To honor Jens’ contributions, all products co-designed by Vox and Ansø will continue to carry the credit “designed by Vox/Ansø” in the product description. This is an important part of GiantMouse’s history, and it reflects the collaboration that helped bring the company to where it is today.
