Kappa, the leading Italian sportswear brand, is thrilled to announce the launch of its Spring 2021 collection with a campaign starring Reggaeton and Pop artist, Mariah Angeliq.
Kappa’s Spring 2021 collection offers an elevated range of the brand’s classic tracksuits, as well as a new assortment of premium essentials and sport-ready apparel for everyday use. In addition, the collection introduces a vibrant range of 90’s-inspired soccer warm-ups and biker shorts, while softer pastels and shimmering Lorex are featured across a selection of monogrammed leggings, sports bras, bodysuits and track pants.
To bring the Spring 2021 campaign to life, Kappa enlisted Reggaeton/Pop artist Mariah Angeliq, who was shot on location in the heart of Little Havana, Miami, FL, by the talented music and lifestyle photographer, Orli Arias (J. Balvin, Bad Bunny, etc.). Following the successful launch of Kappa’s collaboration with Karol G, the campaign, styled by Norma Castro, continues the brand’s relationship with leading LatinX creatives.
As the face of Kappa’s campaign, multi-platinum Urbano Popstar, Mariah Angeliq, perfectly embodies the brand’s ethos and continues to promote the brand via her personal credo of being fearless, promoting female empowerment and always being unapologetically authentic. In addition, the campaign finds the budding star in her own backyard at her family’s restaurant and local favorite, Yambo in the place better known as “Magic City”. Mariah is known as the Bicultural/Bilingual Urbano Pop Princess who has no problem holding her own in collaborations with the likes of Anuel AA, Myke Towers, Guaynaa, Greeicy, Arcangel, among others. Boasting over 700M career streams to date, Mariah Angeliq is proving to consistently take her sound and brand to new global heights.

Kappa’s Spring 2021 collection ranges from $35 to $100. The first collection drop will be available for purchase in-stores and online at Kappa.com starting Thursday, February 4th.
