After an extensive remodeling that included the expansion of the commercial space, Kókomo store reopened its doors with a 4,275 sq.ft. in Mayagüez Mall, Puerto Rico. The new design of the store is inspired by the sea and its colors that characterize it so much. The waves of the sea are embodied on its ceiling, which provide movement to the store.
This remodeling’s cost sums up to over $750,000.00, arises in order to be able to satisfy the demand of its clientele and create distinctive spaces for the great variety of iconic brands that Kókomo offers its clients.
In addition to the expansion, this reopening brings new brands to Kókomo. Among them are: Sun Bum, Viviana D’Ontañón, Olukai, Columbia and Vissla. It is on the agenda to add additional brands to please all those customers who have been loyal to Kókomo for so many years.
One of the sections worth noting is the new space for drinkware and hard coolers from the recognized brands: Yeti and Corkcicle. In this new space, two distinctive areas have been created where you can get a wide variety, including beach coolers.
Architects Sebastián and Kathia García were the ones responsible for the design of the store. For more information, visit Kókomo’s social media @kokomopr and website: kokomopr.com
