Mega-popular Instagram account KOOKSLAMS @kookslams and global action sports channel FUEL TV have collaborated on the development of a new weekly program “KOOKSLAMS FRIDAY FUNDAY” set to premier on Friday September 3rd at 5pm, it was announced today by Don Meek, chief content officer at FUEL TV.
This new short-form series will bring the best of KOOKSLAMS to FUEL TV’s global audience as one of the first social-first brands to make the move.
“The crew at KOOKSLAMS has done an amazing job building a killer brand and we’re stoked to bring it to FUEL TV,” said Meek. “The only issue I have is that I can’t get the theme song out of my head.”
“When the guys at FUEL TV got in touch I was intrigued with the idea,” said KOOKSLAMS co-founder Scott Branch. “I had a chance to talk it over with my partners and we decided to go for it. We’ve always loved FUEL TV and we think it’s a rad place to extend our brand and share it with the world. We’re also super-stoked with the animation and music, except it’s hard to get the theme song out of my head.”
“The timing for KOOKSLAMS FRIDAY FUNDAY couldn’t be better,” said KOOKSLAMS co-founder Tyler Branch. “With the launch of our KOOKSLAMS Hard Seltzer the more eyeballs the better. I just hope that people don’t get the theme song stuck in their heads.”
