This November, LAMO footwear products will be featured on The Price is Right, airing weekdays on CBS and ParamountPlus. The LAMO Samantha, Alta, Zaya and Jacinta styles will help make history as a part of the 50th Season of the popular gameshow. Airing consistently since its premiere on September 4, 1972, the Price is Right is officially the longest-running game show in TV history.
“The Price is Right is a fixture in American pop culture, and it is a huge opportunity for LAMO to make an appearance on the show,” said Jerry Breig, COO of LAMO. “From the legendary Bob Barker to the iconic Drew Carey, Americans connect with this TV gameshow’s hosts, reaching millions of people from coast-to-coast every week.”
Every show, contestants on The Price Is Right can win up to $1 million by playing a variety of games and contests focused on guessing the prices of everyday retail items. Four contestants are called to the stage to play a preliminary round. That winner joins the host on stage for one of more than 70 different pricing games. After three such games, the contestants spin a big wheel — hoping to get as close to $1 as possible — in the “Showcase Showdown.” The two highest winners of that round advance to the final, where prizes could be cars or rooms full of furniture. A trio of models presents the prizes.
