The Road To Holy Bowly brought us once again to the snow swelled Sierra Nevadas for the second Holy Bowly to be held at the picturesque snowboarding epicenter known as Mammoth Mountain. At the tail end of a legendary California snow season Snowboy Productions and the Mammoth Unbound terrain park crew came together to create a shrine of holy snow transition riding the likes of which the world has never seen. This was the best Bowly course ever, made even better by the beautiful weather and insanely diverse cross section of accomplished snowboarders interpreting it. For the seventh installment of our ongoing “Road to Holy Bowly” series Phil Hansen, Brandon Reis and Austen Sweetin jumped in the Libaru and made the trek down from Seattle skating on their way to meet up with Denver Orr, Tucker Andrews, Ryan Paterson, Matteo Soltane, Zebbe Landmark and more to session the Bowly. MMMedia’s Sean Lucey, Tim Zimmerman and Tim Stanford were on hand capturing a more personal look at the riders moments on the sun drenched crystalline waves and mounds inside the chaos of the 5 day session.
Thanks to Snowboy Productions, Mammoth Unbound, Fat Tire for the beer and beds, Wave Rave and all the riders, shops and participants.
