The California-Born Board Sports Brand Has Opened Two Retail Stores in the Region With Plans to Roll Out Ten More Locations by the End of 2020
New York, NY – July 20, 2020 – Authentic Brands Group (ABG), owner of a global portfolio of lifestyle and entertainment brands, today announced the expansion of Volcom in partnership with China Ting Group, a leading China-based lifestyle company specializing in retail development and brand building.
Through this partnership, The China Ting Group becomes a pivotal partner as ABG furthers its global Volcom brand strategy to interpret and distribute its core product categories in key markets. Two new Volcom stores opened in June in the Mixc Mall, located in Hangzhou’s premium shopping district and in the Sanya Summer mall in China’s famous surfing and beach resort capital. The China Ting Group has plans to launch a fleet of twelve stores across the region by the end of this year.

Volcom now broadens its focus, targeting board sports and beach culture enthusiasts with a full assortment of lifestyle apparel and accessories for men, women and teens, designed especially for the APAC market. The brand will also re-launch its regional eCommerce shop in 2021.
