Published: January 23, 2020 Press Release

Nikita Clothing, a Pretty Great LLC company, today announces a collaboration with breast cancer awareness and prevention non-profit, Boarding For Breast Cancer (B4BC). B4BC and Nikita have worked together in past seasons, finally joining forces to produce a collaboration collection for the upcoming fall and winter season that supports the breast cancer awareness initiative. The collection is being previewed at tradeshows across the globe, with the next opportunity coming at the SIA/OR Winter Sports Market show in Denver, CO.

B4BC, known for their breast cancer awareness activations, survivor retreats and community outreach, was highly enthusiastic in their approach to creating the collection with Nikita Clothing. B4BC’s Megan Pischke brought Vancouver-based artist Tori Swanson in to create the art for the project, and together with Nikita Clothing’s team consisting of designer Natalie Sullivan, Marketing Manager Jenna Kuklinski and Nikita team riders, they chose a custom piece of art that defines the collection.

This Limited Edition collaboration consists of both outerwear and streetwear, utilizing four pieces that have become signature staples within Nikita Clothing’s line. The collection will offer the Sycamore Stretch Jacket, White Pine Stretch Pant, Endurance Hoodie and Resilience Tee in exclusive B4BC colorways and artwork. The capsule itself will support B4BC’s mission to increase awareness around breast cancer prevention, detection and survivorship support.

“I have always viewed being outdoors and connecting with nature as medicine. And I am honored to hold space for so many inspiring (young) women managing breast cancer treatment and diagnosis’ at our annual Chasing Sunshine Mountain and Ocean Wellness Retreats, and Wellness Day Retreats. We hold 4-5 of these events yearly, and with the funding from our partner collaborations and Outreach fundraising events, we are able to support nearly 100 women a year to attend these life changing events. Thank you Nikita for being a part of our Survivorship community!’

“Not only is this a collaboration that does good, it looks really good too- from the pieces we selected for the collection to the artwork that Tori created, I could not be more excited to introduce the Nikita x B4BC capsule collection to the world. Young women should know what measures they can take to help care for themselves and their bodies. B4BC has already lead the charge in helping educate and involve girls and women of all ages, we’re simply honored to have the chance to be a small part of supporting their mission,” says Jenna Kuklinski, Marketing Manager at Nikita Clothing.

The capsule collection will be available at select retailers as well as online at www.nikitaclothing.com. To learn more about B4BC and to find a local education event near you, visit their website www.B4BC.org or check out Nikita’s event calendar page.
