The Oberalp Group, which owns Salewa, Dynafit, Pomoca, Wild Country, and Evolv, announced today that it has added the Reach Sales Group to represent Wild Country and Evolv in the Southwest United States, placing a veteran sales expert in charge of the companies’ sales initiatives in a critical U.S. market.
Founded in May by veteran climber Erik Andrade and based in Bend, Ore., the Reach Sales Group will handle all sales responsibilities for the two Oberalp brands in California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii. Prior to founding his own firm, Andrade worked for climbing specialists HMH Outdoors, and The Reach Sales group also works with ZIGZAG Climbing as well as SEND Bars, the energy bar company founded by professional climber Sasha DiGiulian and Olympian Arianne Jones.
“We’re excited to welcome Erik Andrade and the Reach Sales Group to our team. His expertise in client management and passion for delivering outstanding service makes him a perfect fit for our growing brands,” said Loren Morshead, U.S. Sales and Marketing Director for The Oberalp Group. “The Southwest Territory is important for many reasons, including the history of the Wild Country Brand, and is the home and backyard for Evolv.”
“I’m proud to partner with Oberalp to support their world-class climbing brands. With a track record of growing similar brands in the climbing and outdoor market, I bring both proven results and an authentic passion for climbing,” Andrade said. “Through Reach Sales Group, I’m focused on elevating Oberalp’s climbing brands with meaningful partnerships that empower retailers and enrich the climbing community.”
