OutsidePR Announces 2026 JEDIA+ Program

Purpose-driven PR agency pro-bono program is now open for 2026 applications.
Published: July 30, 2025 Press Release

OutsidePR, a leading boutique outdoor industry and active lifestyle public relations firm with a focus on diversifying the outdoor community, is proud to announce that its 2026 Justice, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion and Accessibility+ (JEDIA+) Public Relations program is now open for applications.

Now in its fourth year, OutsidePR’s pro-bono program is designed to help kick-start strategic public relations and communications campaigns for historically underrepresented brands and organizations, with a focus on non-profit, LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC brands and organizations.

The OutsidePR JEDIA+ project offers four-month-long PR programs for three vetted clients, who meet specific criteria for consideration. The campaigns are staffed by OutsidePR employees who volunteer their time to support the approved brands and organizations by crafting earned media marketing strategy, executing campaigns, launches and announcements, and helping guide the partner in thoughtful and strategic brand positioning.

In 2025, OutsidePR worked with Black Girls Hike, Camp Yoshi, Outdoor Diversity Alliance, and The Summit Scholarship Foundation to help build and amplify public relations opportunities and brand positioning over each four-month partnership. As a result of the OutsidePR JEDIA+ program, our partners were able to amplify their unique messages, connect with media during in-person activations, and amplify brand messaging using OutsidePR’s industry leading teams, tools and creative communications strategies.

“The JEDIA+ Program is a core component of OutsidePR’s work ethic, whereby our purview as communications professionals is to ensure that organizations of all shapes and sizes have the opportunity to positively impact our communities,” said OutsidePR President, Jess Fiaschetti. “We’re passionate and committed to making a difference with our partners and inspiring leaders from across the industry to elevate important issues and voices.”

  • Is a non-profit or NGO
  • Is BIPOC or LGBQTIA owned, or led/founded by members of a marginalized community

The application period runs until September 30, 2025. 2026 partners will be announced in early December, with the first partnership PR program starting January, 2026. The program periods are January through April, April through July, and July through October, 2026. The overarching aim is to help amplify historically underrepresented voices, and further diversify the outdoor industry.
