PAKA Reimagines Its Most-Loved Hoodie

After years of requests from its community, PAKA launches the Women’s Hoodie.
Published: August 14, 2025 Press Release

Since its debut, The Hoodie has been more than PAKA®’s most-loved product—it’s been a trusted travel companion, a trail essential, and a reminder of the power of natural fibers. Now, after years of requests from its community, PAKA is proud to launch the Women’s Hoodie—crafted with the same spirit, softness, and story as the original, reimagined in a silhouette made to move with her life.

Crafted from traceable Royal Alpaca fiber—one of the softest and most sustainable materials on earth—and blended with recycled nylon for durability, the Women’s Hoodie carries the performance nature intended: warmth without weight, breathability without bulk, and resilience without losing its luxuriously soft hand feel. Every detail, from the curved silhouette to the longer back panel, reflects months of listening, fit testing, and collaboration with women in our community.

“The Women’s Hoodie was designed by women, for women,” said Megan Krajco, Design Director at PAKA “We wanted to capture the feeling of our original Hoodie — that sense of being wrapped in comfort and possibility — and reimagine it in a way that honors her body, her movement, and her adventures. It’s a piece that’s meant to be lived in, season after season, without losing its shape, purpose, or story.”

As with all PAKA knits, the Women’s Hoodie carries the brand’s signature handwoven Inca ID and is hand-signed by the Peruvian artisan who worked on it—a tangible link between the hands that craft the sweater and the hands that wear it. It’s more than a hoodie; it’s a piece of connection, designed to be worn, remembered, and passed forward.

The Women’s Hoodie is available in Light Grey, Eucalyptus, and Fig, priced at $149, and can be found online at www.pakaapparel.com/.
