805 Beer hosted the world premiere of the 805 Beer documentary - “Mind Surfing: The Conner Coffin Story” in Huntington Beach at the Vans US Open of Surfing. Special guests joined the professional surfer Conner Coffin including: Kaipo Guerrero, Greyson Fletcher, Grant Noble, Tyler Bereman, Erik Logan, Anya Violet, Jordan Small, Rob McCullough. Firestone Walker Brewing Company CMO Dustin Hinz and Firestone Walker’s COO, Nick Firestone were on-hand to introduce the film with Conner and the film’s director Keith Malloy.
Synopsis:
The film follows American professional surfer Conner Coffin, the latest iteration of surfing style masters to come out of the California Central Coast. The film highlights the influences and path that Coffin took to become one of the world’s preeminent surfers, starting at an early age with exposure to the sport from his father. Last season, Coffin earned himself a place in the inaugural World Surf League Finals and a career-high finish as the World No. 4.
