Just in time for summer, Roark is releasing the much-anticipated styles from the season 2 launch of Run Amok, a new path in performance apparel that values expression as much as it does function.
The second season of Run Amok continues to further draw inspiration from traveling and running through the lands of Morocco. Forever encouraging freedom of expression through movement, Roark’s perpetual journey provides a unique perspective on trail running and activewear born from adventure – somewhere between freedom and chaos.
In evolving the collection, Roark continues to push the envelope of design, while maintaining premium quality and sensible function. Hand drawn graphics influenced by the North-African coastal country of Morocco and over-dyed patterns uniquely enrich each performance piece.
Performance underlies everything from the DriRelease® Mathis knit tees which offer a lightweight favorite tee feel in long sleeve, short sleeve and cut off styles, to the 4 way stretch construction of the shorts, which come in 3 styles to cover run, cross-training and active adventure needs. The Second Wind Anorak and five panel running caps round out the s2 drop, which will be available to ship from May to July.
“There’s no better way to see and connect with the world around you than by running through it.” said Ryan Hitzel, Founder & CEO of Roark. “It was clear to me on a soggy run in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland, that there was something Roark could add to the conversation. Our crew didn’t have gear or a brand that intrinsically spoke to us. We wanted our voice to be heard through products that reflected our needs as runners.”
The Run Amok collection is available now at select retailers, and will also live here. Check out the IG handle here.
