Rumpl, (https://rumpl.com), the leading designer of technical blankets, today announced that it has moved its company headquarters to Portland, Oregon. To celebrate, the company has launched a new PDX Carpet blanket featuring the iconic print from the original PDX airport carpet.
Founded in 2014 in San Francisco and launched with a single blanket on Kickstarter, Rumpl has continued to grow and create new and innovative products using only the best materials and has also become known for unique print collaborations with partners like Pladra, Hippy Tree, and Passenger Clothing, among many others.Rumpl is also focused on giving back, and has launched fundraising projects for 1% for the Planet and Rainforest Conservation Foundation, designing products with the Hive Fives Foundation that give back to injured mountain sports athletes, as well as supporting local causes like donating blankets to Episcopal Community Services, an organization helping homeless and low-income individuals.

Rumpl is celebrating its new home by launching the PDX Carpet blanket, a new Original Puffy Blanket featuring the iconic print from the original PDX airport carpet. Designed in 1987 by SRG Architects, the carpet design incorporates blues and greens to represent the Pacific Northwest and captures the intersecting runway patterns as seen from the PDX control tower. Rumpl’s PDX Carpet blanket is a limited edition, with just 99 units being made.
With the move and new headquarters location, Rumpl is hiring in almost all job functions and looking for new team members with experience and interest in the outdoor and active lifestyle.
