Stio continues its investment in the people and culture of the mountain lifestyle brand through the announcement of several promotions and new hires to kick off 2025.

Sarah Raff has been promoted to Vice President of Operations where she taps into her past experiences of engineering and ops to drive the evolution of a more integrated planning and operations function at Stio. Raff will partner with the Senior Leadership Team to continue to grow the brand’s omni-channel sales environment in her new executive-level position.

“We’re thrilled to have Sarah take on this expanded operations role at Stio. Her leadership of the inventory planning function and its cross-functional impacts have been instrumental to our growth and we’re excited to integrate operations teams under her going forward. Her promotion reflects not only her personal achievements but also Stio’s commitment to developing talent and creating opportunities for growth within our organization,” said Noah Waterhouse, President and COO at Stio.

Since joining Stio in 2015 as marketing manager and becoming brand director three years later, Liz Barrett has grown her role within the company by recently being named Senior Director of Brand Marketing. In her expanded position, Barrett leads cross-functional efforts in strategic brand planning, customer-centric marketing plans across seasonal GTM initiatives, and ensures creative direction, channel execution, and related workflows to enhance the Stio brand and drive business growth.

The marketing department also sees growth for Stirling Cobb, who was recently named Product Marketing Director, reporting directly to Barrett. Since joining the company in 2019 as a brand manager before moving into a product marketing manager role, Cobb’s recent promotion recognizes his contributions to the GTM process and leadership in bringing the product experience to life.

Growing among the company ranks, Chris Ragusa was also recently promoted to Director of Customer Experience. In his three and half years at Stio, Ragusa has built a talented customer experience team, maintained world class CSAT and NPS ratings for multiple years in succession, and migrated the function into more efficient operations to support an exceptional customer experience with the brand.

New to the team, John Brown joins Stio as Associate Creative Director, a new role for the organization. Brown brings extensive experience across the creative realm including serving most recently as the Associate Creative Digital Director at Go-Pro and a decade at Burton Snowboards as a designer and art director during his tenure with the brand. In his new role, Brown will lead a team of designers, copywriters, and creatives and develop concepts and strategies to drive the creative expression of the Stio brand.
