SUPRA, a premiere footwear and apparel brand born from skateboarding, introduces its second collaboration with Los Angeles based artist, “BADWOOD” Natalie Wood today. To celebrate the success of the first SUPRA x BADWOOD shoe that sold out in 20 minutes, the team has come together once again for an exclusive, one of a kind, premium shoe and denim jacket capsule collection.
Back by popular demand, the limited-edition capsule revives the beloved SUPRA Belmont High, an archived silhouette that high-top lovers drool over. The limited SUPRA Belmont High features a lux makeover with a black premium suede upper with deboss mid foot details, integrated with exclusive BADWOOD art on the shoe-liner, a patch tongue label, and a license plate.
Also, SUPRA x BADWOOD added a must have wardrobe staple to this release; the denim jacket. The vintage inspired denim jacket is complete with embroidery patches, rose detailing on the collar and sleeves, and an enamel pin collection of iconic BADWOOD art.
To celebrate the second collection with BADWOOD, Natalie Wood will be customizing two jackets from the line. One jacket will live on the Zumiez STASH program and one will be up for grabs on Suprafootwear.com as an online bid for twenty-four hours. The highest bidder will receive the signature jacket and 100% of the proceeds from the bidding will go directly to URB Sub Pet Palace. URB Sub Pet Palace is a non-profit team with the mission to shelter, rehabilitate, and ultimately adopt out local homeless pets to loving families.
In alignment with the launch, the collaboration will kick off with a Pop-up shop and party in Echo Park on Friday, May 11th. Natalie Wood will be showcasing never before seen artwork, prepared and created in celebration of the second collection. Attendees will immerse themselves in a BADWOOD x SUPRA world and have access to purchase the limited shoes and jackets, get a tattoo on site, and blingy tooth gems. The first three to purchase a jacket and shoe on site will be gifted Swarovski tooth gems by the queen, ToothKandy.
THE SUPRA x BADWOOD BELMONT HIGH retails for $120 and will be available on May 10th 2018 (12am EST/ 9pm PST) at Suprafootwear.com. A presale will be held on Suprafootwear.com to subscribers and will open on May 3rd at 9 PM PST and 12 AM EST. Supporters that purchase the jacket and shoe in a bundle will secure a VIP ticket to the SUPRA x BADWOOD Pop-Up and launch party.
