Surf Technicians LLC. would like to welcome Mark Mertens to the team, Mark will be focused on the state of Florida and will be the lead sales rep for all Surf and Stand Up Paddle product lines under the Surftech and NSP brands.
“Mark is one of the most experienced surf industry reps in the South East, he has tons of retail experience, and is a die hard surfer himself. Florida is a big state with a unique year-round business, and requires a detailed strategy to get it all done.” Says Ryan Guay, VP of sales. “Selling Surf and Stand up Paddleboards is quite different than apparel, footwear or accessories. So it can be really challenging to find reps that have deep experience, everyone wants to be a surfboard rep until they see a full truck load of samples getting dropped off in their front yard. Mark understands it, already knows our product, and will help us service all of our retailers for all of our brands.”

Former Florida Rep and Surftech/Bark Team Rider AJ DeFilippis remains with the team and will be focusing his efforts growing our business in the Caribbean and Puerto Rico.
