Vans Skateboarding Introduces the All-New Zahba

The new shoes are influenced by Zion Wright and built to make an impact.

Vans, the original action sports footwear and apparel brand, is proud to unveil the Zahba, an all-new performance-driven silhouette leading with Vans Skateboarding’s ImpactWaffle™ technology and inspired by team rider Zion Wright.

Vans Zahba is built with ImpactWaffle™ technology, a combination of Vans VR3 dual-density impact cushioning and SickStick™ rubber, providing the perfect amount of impact protection and boardfeel. Vans VR3 designation follows strict material guidelines with one or a combination of regenerative, responsibly sourced renewable, and recycled materials making up at least 30% of the product.

Pulling inspiration from Jupiter, Florida, Vans blended muted earth tones with a space beach theme featuring the iconic lighthouse from Zion’s hometown. The outsole features a space-dust speckle treatment and is finished with a deco stitch of his hometown area code on the heel pull alongside an embroidered planet Jupiter.

Known for his well-rounded approach and as being truly an all-terrain skater, Zion makes the most unthinkable tricks look easy with his fearless, no-holds-barred approach. It’s this essence that comes through in his latest Vans Skateboarding short film project, bringing into focus the impact that he’s had on skateboarding and the future progression of the sport.

The Vans Zahba by Zion Wright will be available globally on March 16, 2023, at select Vans retail locations and Vans.com.
